Day 6

Today's forecast wasn't looking great, so we decided to skip the beach and head to the Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach.

We saw lots & lots of fish, stingrays, sharks, horseshoe crabs, seahorses, jellyfish, iguanas, frogs, and.....MERMAIDS!!

Abby was absolutely mesmerized by the "real" mermaid show. (Nate, not so much. They kept going up to get another breath and he told me "If they were real mermaids they wouldn't have to do that. Why don't they just wear a tank?!")

Abby really was starstruck, especially after the show when we got to meet the mermaids and take pictures with them. This is her starstruck face :)

Then the kids left with my parents to go to lunch & head home for naps, while Greg & I got to go shop at the outlets!! And then, unfortunately, a rainy afternoon kept us all inside after naptime. Rocket balloons, Go Fish, and N&P entertained the kids and Greg cooked out some delicious steaks. We finished off the night with popcorn & a movie at home.

Tomorrow is our last day  :(
