Beach Picture Overload, Part II

Ok, so here's the last picture dump post from the beach :) The pictures don't do our trip justice; it was so much fun to be with my little family of 4, as well as my parents, BOTH sisters, bro-in-law, and adorable nephew. Such wonderful memories!

Ms. Sugar Lips, thanks to Poppy's donut run

Anderson's first donut!

Every day, Abby would run for the sand toys as soon as we got to the beach. I loved all of her creations! (Which got more spectacular as the week went on, when N&P bought her a pink "love bucket" :)

Nate loves flying kites with Poppy! It's become quite the tradition each year now.

Watching Nate's kite!

My fave thing to do as a kid was building drip castles. Thank goodness my girl does too!

When I told Abby to go pee in the ocean, I thought she'd go in a little deeper....

Anderson was pretty pleased with his new pool!

Sandcastle #1 with Uncle Mike

Not sure what's going on here.

Twinsies in their crab outfits

Photobomber Nate

Chillin' in the hammock

Ready to eat dinner at the Dead Dog Saloon!

The Statons!

Love that gleam in his eye

Nanny always makes sure we walk the pier after eating in Murrell's Inlet (Dead Dog Saloon is in the background)

Can anyone say "slap-happy!?"
Morning rocket balloons with Poppy

Sandcastle #2 with Uncle Mike

Our set-up most days

Maybe we'll get a bigger pool next year!?

Legos seem to follow us wherever we go

Golf cart rides after dinner are the best!

Fun at the Aquarium!

Love my little model

Surprisingly, Greg was the only one who touched the stingrays & horseshoe crabs

We all thought these sea dragons were super cool!

My picture doesn't do it justice, but it was awesome watching the jellyfish light up

Daddy's two little pals

This was swimming above us at one point. Freaky!!

She got a little scared of the sharks & needed to be held :)

Pretty coral!

Abby was mesmerized by the "live mermaid show" (which was pretty lame but we didn't tell her that)

Abby's favorite was the "gold" mermaid - she's a little starstruck here

Silliness before heading down to the beach our last morning

My surfer dude!

It was pretty chilly our last day, so we decided to snuggle (& catnap!) together

So much for our sunny picnic lunch

Sandcastle #3, this one with Daddy!

Man-made tidal pool, thanks to Greg

I caught Nate doing some ninja moves with the water blaster, ha!

Nate could not believe I let him watch a movie during naptime! He watched NinjaGo 4 days in a row

Silly faces at Hanser House

By far, my favorite pic of the whole week! We took an impromptu walk on the beach after dinner and the kids had a blast! It was nice to spend a little alone time with them before shipping them off to "Camp Nanny & Poppy"

SO EXCITED that the ice cream truck turned down our street!!

Oh how I adore those sticky faces :)

So there ya have it, folks. This wraps up my posts for the Annual Gibbs Beach Trip 2013. I love that this beach house holds so many fond childhood memories for me, and now my kids are forming their own great memories and traditions!
