Abby lost her first tooth last Friday, the 13th. It had been wiggly for a few weeks, but she wanted to work on it herself and didn't want Daddy near it :)
I guess she got tired of it being wiggly, so Friday night, she asked Daddy to pull it. It came out with one yank! And best of all......no tears!!!! She is one tough cookie!

It just so happened that my parents & older sister were in town when Abby's tooth came out (for her birthday weekend), so they got to see her new toothless smile in person. So exciting!!! She wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy - who had to be extra quiet/sneaky that night, since Abby & Nate were sleeping together in the same room - and asked for "lots of dollars." She got a $5 bill and woke me up at 6 am to proudly show it off! :)
She loves loves loves talking about her missing tooth, and moving her tongue in & out of the empty space. I love her new grown-up smile, and yes, that is an enormous bow on her head.
