The annual neighborhood Christmas party was held a few houses down Sunday night, and we had a great time. The biggest hit of the party was the horse & "sleigh" that gave rides around the neighborhood, in order to see all the beautiful luminaries! Brought me back to my childhood in NC...this was one of my favorite traditions every Christmas.
After a sleigh ride and some food, Nate jumped right in with the other kids and started running/playing in the front yard. Who knew our neighborhood had so many kids?!
Abby tried to get in on the action as well...
...but fell down once or twice and was NOT happy!
The kids insisted Daddy take a "sleigh" ride with them too! But first, a picture with Budweiser the horse.
Abby and her newest friends (Perrin - 5, Harper - 7). Her booty dance won them over!
Looking up our street at the beautiful luminaries...my pictures don't do them justice.
Our house and beautiful tree!! I love Christmas!
OH HOW FUN!!!!! And how can a pouting child be so DARN CUTE? My goodness I don't know how you even fuss at her! BTW.. she's so stylin' in that outfit!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all landed in a perfect neighborhood!:) Love the sense of community!

Awesome!! The sleigh ride is so cool! If my husband was in a picture with a Budweiser horse he would have a Budweiser in his hand! Ha ha!! The tree looks great! My kids have pulled the lights off so many times that mi e looks pretty sad from the street (and inside)
