This little lady had her 8th birthday party on Sunday afternoon, and it was one for the books!
The limo pulled up around 3:30 and she was *thrilled* to say the least! She had been waiting by the window for at least 20 minutes.
Only girls were allowed in the limo (!), so we said goodbye to Daddy, Nate, and Poppy and headed to pick up our other guests. Next door neighbors Caroline & Kate hopped in first, and immediately started jammin' to the mix CD Abby and I had made :)
The limo provided soda & waters for the girls, and I brought some adult beverages for Nanny & myself :) (Don't judge! 8 year old girls are LOUD and high energy!)
Next we picked up Mia and then Indya. I made the girls rotate seats each time we made a stop. They just loved driving around town!!

Our last pick-up was Cate, Jonesy, and Erin. The whole gang was finally together!!

Then, we pulled up to Belk, where the ladies at the Bobbi Brown counter gave the girls "makeovers!" Abby was most excited for this part. They all got lipgloss, shimmery blush, and eye shadow.
All the girls patiently waited their turn for their makeover :)

The ladies at Bobbi Brown were sooooo nice! They asked to take pictures with all the beauties....
We called our driver, Todd, to come pick us up. I had originally told him it would take 30-45 minutes for the makeovers, so who knows where he went. However, we finished much sooner, so we had a few minutes to kill outside of Belk waiting for him....
The girls were so happy to see our ride arrive!
Things started to go downhill from there......well, not really but OMG the girls got really hyper!! We drove around town a bit more, snacking and dancing, until it was time for our dinner reservation.
Finally it was time! We arrived at the oh-so-fancy Olive Garden and said goodbye to Mr. Todd. Such a fun time in the limo!
Greg, Poppy, and Nate did a good job setting up the party - balloons, cookie cake, and favors. The girls were so happy to have a fancy dinner together :)
As their goody bag, they received a notebook (with a Mandala type design to color on the front), plus a fun pen and lipgloss. They went to town coloring in and on their new notebooks! It was nice for a few minutes of quiet :)

Parents came to pick up the girls around 7 pm, and we finished dinner just in time. This was by far the easiest party I have ever thrown, and apparently, the best one. Abby has already requested the same party for next year :)

OMG, BEST. PARTY. EVER!!! I may be copying this one in the very near future!
