*Forgive me, I'm a bit behind on my blogging!*
The kids' school held a Veteran's Day program on November 10th, and Abby got to perform with the choir. They led the school in the "Star Spangled Banner" and then also sang "Thank a Vet."
One of the staff members - a former Army officer - was the keynote speaker. All parents who were veterans were invited to stand up and introduce themselves, and I was amazed at how many there were!
All the scouts were allowed to wear their uniforms to school on Veteran's Day....

It was a great program and I was happy my parents could be in attendance too. We are so thankful for every who has served/is serving our country!
