Saturday afternoon, Greg's parents (Mum Mum & Granddaddy) came for a visit! We took them to our church's 50th anniversary party that night. It was a huge event....lots of multi-cultural food to pick from, live music, and the kids had a ball running all over the playground with their friends.
Nate's favorite foods were a fried bologna sandwich (obviously, from the "American" food tent), and the homemade spring rolls from the Filipino tent.

Sunday, we had a lazy morning & then went to mass at 11 am. We had a sunny afternoon for a little bit, so Greg & Nate headed to a nearby park on their bikes, while Abby & Mum Mum followed in the car. Minutes after they arrived.....DOWNPOUR. And it pretty much rained the rest of the afternoon, which kinda put a dent in our driveway cookout plans with neighbors :( We still got to have it, but it was wet & chilly!

Right before the neighbors were supposed to come over, this one moved her chair from the carport all the way to end of the driveway/street. I guess she designated herself the welcoming committee :)

Mum Mum & Granddaddy had to return to TN on Monday, so it was a short trip but a good one!
