Greg had the bright idea to take us to a UA baseball game (vs. Auburn) Friday night. It was "Faculty Night," so we got in super cheap (but then blew $20 on concessions, ha!).JPG)

Nate was acting pretty pitiful when we settled in to watch the game - just acting really tired, from a long week I guess. Well, all it took was this monster cookie and he perked right up! Talk about a second wind. He did not stop talking the rest of the game - asking questions about the scoreboard and rules of the game and statistics of each player.
And then there's Miss Priss....you would have thought we didn't feed her dinner an hour earlier!! She chowed down on peanut m&m's, some of my cookie, and stole about half of Greg's popcorn!! Oh how my girl loves popcorn...

So while Nate was very interested in the game, Abby was the complete opposite. I don't think she sat down longer than 2 minutes to watch it. She chose to stand in the row behind us, or out in the aisle, and sing/dance/cheer the whole game. This girl was in her element and it was hilarious to watch! She loved all the music they played - between innings, at time-outs, etc.

We had planned on leaving around the 5th or 6th inning, but the kids were having a ball so we made it all the way to the end of the 8th inning! Alabama lost to Auburn 2-1, but we had a great time anyways!! It was a great family night and we will definitely go back to more games in the future.
What a fun idea!! I love the pom-pom wigs! Adorable!
