Reunited...

.....and it feels so good!

We took a very short trip to TN on Friday/Saturday, and got to see our old buds Hallie, Grant, and Cole! The kids don't get out of school till 3 pm, so we hit the road right away and were in Murfreesboro around 7:15 pm. The kids got reacquainted quickly and jumped right into playing!

The boys slept together in the bonus room, and Abby & I shared G's room. She slept on the floor, and insisted it be on her napmat! And G gave her a "Flashlight Friend" so she wouldn't be scared. It worked - she slept well - but she would randomly roll on top of it in the middle of the night and a huge spotlight would form on the ceiling and wake me up! Ha!

The kids got up bright & early :) on Saturday morning, and Nate was oh so thrilled to play Grant's DS. Look at those sweet crossed feet!

TN vs. Bama!!

We lucked out and Saturday was a beautiful day, so we headed to a park that we used to frequent when we lived in TN. In the past 2 years since we've been gone, it has been completely renovated & now is 100 times better!!! My kids could have stayed there a.l.l. d.a.y!!

There are a few restaurants I've really missed since leaving TN, and Chuy's is one of them so we hit that up for lunch! Poor Cole was exhausted from a few busy days in a row, and slept right through lunch. Bless!

We headed back to AL around 2 pm on Saturday. I knew it'd be a long trip b/c all 3 of us were exhausted. I underestimated how tired Miss Priss was though......and was completely floored when she slept 2 hours in the car!!! She NEVER does that!!! Love this pic of her with her baby cuddled up close :)
