My Little Pony Painting Party

We had Abby's 5th birthday party at a pottery-painting place on Saturday. Of course the theme was "My Little Pony, so everything was bright colors with an extra dose of pink! :)

Abby helped me make the cupcake toppers, and insisted
she be the ONLY one to get Princess Celestia, ha!

The kids got to fill up a goody bag at the rainbow candy bar

One of our neighbors, Loa Harper, insisted on wearing her
riding clothes since she was "going to a pony party!"

The lone big boys

Each kid got to pick out 3-5 colors for their palette

Hard at work on her unicorn

Picking out colors for their monster/ogres

A sweet little boy from school, Boston

Abby didn't understand the concept of doing 3-5 coats of paint, so Daddy stepped in!
Everyone's beautiful creations; can't wait to see what
they look like after they go into the oven!

Love this girl :)

Oh dear....a 2nd Barbie....I'm in trouble

Her first lego set!!!!

Lots of fancy bows from Boston :)

All the kids signed the back of a plate for Abby; not sure what they're doing to the front
of it, but we will see in a few days!

The candy bar was a bit more chaotic than I had envisioned :)

Besties from school

Thanks to Nanny & Poppy for all their help with the party, and to Katie for
being my stand-in sister/paparazzi! :)
