2013: A Year in Review

I started doing this last year, and wanted to continue the tradition. I love seeing how much the kids have changed, and recapping some memorable moments from the past year.

JANUARY

Our first snow in Alabama!! It lasted about 2 hours, but still, it was pretty and the kids were excited!!

  

FEBRUARY

Nanny & Poppy gave Abby the pram that my sisters and I (mostly my sisters!) played with as kids. Therefore, Abby's obsession with all of her "babies" began. I've loved watching my girl turn into a little mommy!

MARCH

The neighbors became a regular fixture at our house (and our kids at theirs)! Such sweet friendships and very convenient too since they are right next door :)

 APRIL

Nate learns to tie his shoes! The first of many milestones for this year.

MAY

Greg takes the training wheels off of Nate's bike!!

JUNE

Another wonderful year at Litchfield Beach, SC with my family. These two had the time of their life! And for the first time, they enjoyed having a cousin there to play with.

JULY

Abby decides to cut her hair.

AUGUST

My boy turns 6! And he has the "best party ever" at Krispy Kreme :)

SEPTEMBER

We have a wonderful time in Asheville, NC over Labor Day with my family & the Briners from Ohio.

OCTOBER

Abby starts her first sport, gymnastics!! Her class is every Wednesday, after school.

NOVEMBER

In addition to a princess/dress-up party with her friends, we surprise Abby with a trip to Disney on Ice for her 4th birthday!

DECEMBER

Nate loses his first tooth on the 2nd. It was quite traumatic, but the $5 from the Tooth Fairy helped :) (Then he lost his second tooth on Christmas day!)

2013 was good to our family.....we enjoyed many fun trips, milestones, family time, and watched both kids grow & prosper before our very eyes. Here's to hoping that 2014 is even better!
