We exchanged Christmas presents, tried on superhero costumes, watched Cole crawl (!), played hide-n-seek, cuddled in sleeping bags, ate lots of yummy food (thanks H!), and just enjoyed being back with our friends. They always feel like "home," no matter where we move to!
Before heading back to AL on Saturday, we made a quick stop at the mall's indoor play area to see Nate's old girlfriend MalMal. We played hard for an hour, and then had a pizza lunch in the food court. I didn't take any pictures, but trust me, the kids were ecstatic to see each other!
It was a quick trip, but a good one. It's always fun to see old friends and catch-up!! And hearing all the kids' laughter was priceless. Oh! And the best part...the kids were so worn out from all the excitement, they BOTH took naps on & off on the drive home. My kids are NOT car-nappers, so this was nothing short of a miracle!!
We had a blast! Loved having you hear, it was like old times and Lord knows the Girl Time was much needed!!! Lets plan our next trip and we'll come to you!
