Father-Daughter Dance 2018

Abby and Greg attended the Father-Daughter dance for the third year in a row on February 10th. I know this is something they both look forward to very much!

One of the benefits to having a clueless mom - when it comes to beauty - is that you get to get your hair curled at the salon! This girl loves to get all dolled up.....

The theme this year was the classic "Sweetheart" dance, and we decided to do all desserts/sweets for that reason. We had a candy bar where the girls could create their own goody bag, and a chocolate fountain with skewers of strawberries, marshmallows, rice krispy treats, and donut holes. It was a *huge* hit, even though the fountain didn't "flow" very well. The girls still enjoyed dipping their goodies into the chocolate.

2nd grade buddies!

This was my first time helping to chaperone/host the dance, so I was there the entire time. It took all of being not to take 100 pictures, and rather, give Greg & Abby their space. Still caught this pic from afar :) Abby loves to sing & dance with her Daddy!

Found her showing off her Lyrical moves in the corner :)

Without meaning to, Abby & Mia were twinning!

Last song: "My Girl"
