Abby's End-of-Year Program

Abby had her kindergarten end-of-year program last Tuesday, the 24th. Her class made tie dye shirts for the occasion! She was so blessed to have two amazing teachers this year and an awesome group of classmates.
They made their entrance into the church with a kindergartener from the other class.
Abby got to walk in with sweet Elijah:
 She spotted me! :)
Morning Prayer & Pledge of Allegiance
Both classes sang 5 songs together!  I won't add videos of all of them, but just a few of my faves...
Click here for "Stand Together" - this one is super cute with lots of motions.
Then the kids each got a turn on the microphone and shared their favorite part of kindergarten, or what they wanted to be when they grow up. Abby said she wanted to be a nurse! (This is news to me, but still, a noble profession :) Usually, when I ask her what she wants to be, she says a Mommy & a singer!) The funniest answer one of her classmates gave was when he said he wanted to work at Wells Fargo. Ha! Click here to hear Abby's answer.

Then they sang "Shake it Off," which was my personal fave and Abby's too. It's to the tune of Taylor Swift's song, but the music teacher switched the lyrics to apply to kindergarten. SO cute! Click here to watch that.

Each child then got a "candy award" and Abby's was the Milky Way award....for "all of her hard work that was out of this world!" Click here to watch that clip. Apparently, some of the awards were hilarious to the kids....like the "Baby Ruth" award. Abby was dying laughing!!! :)

After the program, we found Mia for a quick picture. These girls have been besties since PK3 (that's 3 years straight!) I hope they are always so sweet together.
And to top it off, Abby found out that she raised the most money in her class for the Spirit Run (thank you to all of our family members that donated money)!!! She received a JUMBO bag of skittles and $20 cash. She was so surprised and super thrilled!
SO so so proud of our little kindergartener! She had a great year and we can't wait to see what she conquers next!!! :) We love you, sweet & sassy Abby Reece!
