2015: A Year in Review

January
Nate finished his second season of basketball and improved SO much! In his last playoff game, he had his best game of the season....he scored multiple baskets and was super aggressive on defense. We were so proud of his improvement!

February
Miss Priss took a trip to the ER and it was traumatic for everyone involved. Nate *accidentally* scratched her cornea, but luckily, it healed in a few days, once we got some medicine & eye drops. But seriously, how pitiful is she in that patch?
 March
During Spring Break, Greg took Abby on her first "Daddy/Daughter date" to see Cinderella!
 April
I was lucky enough to accompany Nate's class on a field trip to Shark Tooth Creek. He talked about this for weeks leading up to it, and then weeks after it as well :) He was such a trooper....the water was a bit cold, but he waded right in and we found over 25 shark teeth!

May
Nate was chosen to be one of the three Narrators in the 1st grade play called "Character Matters." He rocked his Humpty Dumpty character, delivering all of his lines perfectly, and we have never been so proud!

June
These two spent most of the first month of summer at the pool during the day, and snuggled up together for sleepovers at night! #BFFs

July
These two + Litchfield Beach = perfection!

August
Much to our surprise, Abby was EXCITED to wear her uniform for her first day of Kindergarten. I seriously have never seen her look so proud. (And so grown-up, sigh.)

September
Nate's belated birthday present finally arrived - a 24" bike! He loves to ride with his Daddy and is already following in his (biking) footsteps...
October
Late in September, I noticed that Nate was having trouble reading /seeing things in church. And not long after that, his teacher sent home a note saying he could not see the board. So, it was time for Nate to join the Four-Eyes Club!!
Truth be told, this picture was taken a few days after he got his glasses. Reason being - there were a LOT of tears in the days leading up to this. He was so anxious about being the only one in his class with glasses. However, there are now 4 other students that had to get them! #trendsetter
November
While Nanny & Poppy were in town for Abby's birthday party weekend, Miss Priss lost her first tooth!!! She was a total champ (unlike her brother!) and didn't cry at all when she saw all the blood.

December
We traveled to Disney for the first time on December 17-21!!!! My whole family went with us - there were 12 people in all (!) - and it was the trip of a lifetime. These sweet cousins could not have had more fun....

I love doing these year-end posts, because it helps me remember how much fun we had - amidst all the fighting and crying and whining :) And it reminds me how grateful I am for our two amazing children!

I'm so excited to see what 2016 holds for our little family....
