Christmas Day

The kids woke up around 6 am on Christmas Day, but waited patiently in Nate's room until the clock turned to 7. I found them snuggling & reading books together. Seriously...they are the best.
Waiting to come down the stairs....

Reading their letter from Santa
He brought an addition for the trampoline.....a basketball goal!

Stocking goodies!

Greg put a selfie stick in my stocking! So hilarious.

Abby got a beautiful purple tea set from Uncle Kevin & Aunt Rocio

We got her a strobe light for all of our after-dinner dance parties. She loved it!

Another great gift from Uncle Kevin & Aunt Rocio

My favorite girl made all sorts of gifts for me!

Nate did a painting in art class for Greg & I

Melt me.

These two spent their own money in the school's gift shop to buy each other gifts.
So fun to see what they pick out!

Nate's gift to Abby - a cupcake maker!

Nate has plowed through his Children's Bible at least 5 times, so it was time to upgrade...

Abby LOVED her silver locket! Her name was engraved on it, as well as her birthstone.

Abby wore her new robe ALL DAY!! She loves the life of luxury.
Nate bought a back scratcher for Greg at the school gift shop!

The #1 thing Nate wanted this year was a Room Defender!

Abby missed her Christmas program at school (because we were at Disney), so she wore her Elf shirt most of the day on Christmas. So cute! Her teachers are so talented.

All in all, it was a great Christmas. Very lazy & cozy. The kids didn't venture outside much, because not only was there a tornado watch, but a flash flood warning too. Crazy weather! And, it was 80 degrees, so it was too hot for a fire :( Greg still cooked up his normal feast for dinner though.....shrimp & grits with andouille sausage, plus okra. YUM!

The next day, we packed up (again!) and headed to NC for Christmas #2.....stay tuned....
