Star Student

Abby was picked to be the Star Student this week at school!

 

She came home on Monday with this guy, Georgie, the class mascot.  Georgie's homework assignment was to go wherever Abby went all week :)

 So, off to the craft room we went, to color her "All About Me" poster.

 Then, it was time for gymnastics! Georgie got to meet Abby's buddy, Indya, and watch her jump and flip and cartwheel and giggle.

 Tuesday, Georgie got to try out the glider swing with Abby and Kate (our neighbor).

 Wednesday, Abby & Georgie agreed that the best snack ever is cheeseballs. So, we brought those in for the whole class. (And Abby hasn't stopped talking about it since! My poor, deprived daughter....never gets cheeseballs. What a hard life!)

 Thursday, Abby took in 3 of her favorite items to share. She picked a magic wand (duh), a mini-American Girl ballerina doll, and a pink kitty cat Beanie Baby from McDonald's. Ha! Then, after school, Georgie played dress-up in Abby's room....

 Today, we checked out Abby's poster in the hallway, and had to return Georgie back to class. We also wrote in the class journal about all of our adventures with Georgie!

Abby dressed up in her "Sunday Best" (yes, including THREE bows) b/c she was super excited about her lunch date today with Daddy!! Greg met her class in the cafeteria for lunch (and then was able to stay thru Nate's lunch as well). Abby said "all of her friends loved her silly Daddy and that he was the first Daddy to ever eat with them!" :)

 

We love our Star Student and are so happy she's enjoying school so much this year!!
