Camp Mum Mum & Granddaddy

Last Sunday, Greg drove the kids to his parents' house in Johnson City, TN for "Camp Mum Mum & Granddaddy." (The kids did this last summer, and had a ball.) Greg stayed the first 2 nights with them there....

Granddaddy cooked up a low country boil for dinner!

Our kids are so deprived; they don't have a Wii or xBox or anything like that. So, one of their favorite things to do at Mum Mum & Granddaddy's house is to play the Wii. Click here to watch a hilarious video of Nate playing Wii baseball.

Monday
They made the rounds! Founders Park, lunch at Pal's (the best burgers, shakes & frenchie fries in town!), Fresh Market for some goodies, and the delicious Tupelo Honey for dinner.

LOVE this pic! These two love their Daddy something fierce.

 Tuesday
Greg left in the morning, and the kids stayed busy at Rotary Park riding bikes, having a picnic, and playing on the playground. They put on puppet shows and played with Legos the library, as well as riding bikes after dinner at Willow Springs.
 Wednesday
The bad weather rolled in, so it was time to teach Granddaddy Minecraft, go to Toys R Us, and see "Inside Out" at the move theater.
 Thursday
No trip to Johnson City is complete without a visit to the Hands On Museum, and McDonald's for lunch! Plus more bike riding and dog-walking at night.

Who knew she was such a daredevil!?
(And is it just me....or did you have a mini-heart attack when you saw this!?)
Friday
Greg met Mum Mum & Granddaddy in Chattanooga (the halfway point) to pick up the kids at eat lunch at Cracker Barrel.
Thank you for taking such good care of our kids, Mum Mum & Granddaddy. They had a great time!! (And a huge thanks to Mum Mum for all the great pictures!)

  1. I want to give a "shout out" to Mum Mum & Granddaddy, too. Thanks so much for looking after them last week. I know they both very much enjoyed their time in JC. I think Abby wants me to get her a dog. Not a chance.
