Two days before Easter, the kids and I dyed some eggs. We tried something new this year and used an "invisible" crayon to write names & do designs on them before dyeing them. I thought they turned out super cute! We just need to press down a little harder on the crayon next time.
We continued our Easter tradition of having the kids "hunt" for their baskets on Easter morning. Apparently, the Easter Bunny wanted to go easy on them this year, since it was our first year hunting in the new house. It took the kids literally 5.5 seconds to find their baskets. As Aunt Lora said, it was "very anti-climatic." Ha!
Nate's favorite thing was actually NOT in his basket, but rather, a gift from Nanny & Poppy. It was......a hexbug! (Think: remote control bug. NO idea why he thinks this thing is so cool!)
And magnetic dolls for Abby, so she can work on becoming even more of a fashionista!
At least the Easter Bunny knew that this lil dude has been wanting some TMNT weapons (specifically, Donatello's b/c "he's the smart one!)
After a yummy brunch at home, we opted for pictures inside before heading to mass. It was SUCH a nasty, rainy day. Which was a big bummer because we had an egg hunt planned with the neighbors after church. Oh well!

Immediately after mass, everyone came home and got into their "comfy" clothes to lounge around the rest of the day. Except for Miss Priss, that is. She has been patiently waiting (for over a month) to wear her Easter dress. And so she did.....all.day.long. Even on a walk with Nanny & Poppy around the neighborhood!
And even to play Ninja! :)
Awesome! Reagan wouldn't wear her Easter dress...nope we rocked out a $4 dress from old navy!!
